Immune status, circulating tumour cells and tumour dynamics
Selected tests may provide additional information for an individual medical assessment:
- Immune status: measures selected immune-cell populations.
- CTC testing: examines circulating tumour cells or markers, depending on the assay.
- Tumour dynamics: considers comparable test results over time.
Not every test is clinically validated for every cancer type. These tests do not replace CT/MRI or routine oncological diagnostics.

Will my health insurance cover dendritic cell therapy?
Reimbursement is not automatic. In Germany, individual assessments may consider court decisions, including the German Federal Constitutional Court's Nikolaus decision and a 2022 Frankfurt Higher Regional Court ruling. Whether any reimbursement is available depends on medical, legal and insurance-specific requirements. Rules differ internationally.
